Silo_City

Located in Buffalo New York, Silo City is an emerging center for arts, performance and community events on the site of an inactive grain silo complex located on the Buffalo River. Working with local non-profits including PUSH Buffalo, this project focuses on landscape management and strategic site editing as means of shaping the development of the dynamic landscape that characterizes this and so many other post-industrial sites.   Project w/ Sean Burkholder.

Leatherworks_PARK

Located in Girard Ohio, Leatherworks Park is a speculative project that helps to envision the potential of a post-industrial site that would serve as a trail-head for a local and regional recreational trail. The park features a picnic shelter, community event space, playground, and an adventure campsite.

Working with students, teachers, and parents the SJMS Playscape combines traditional recreational elements like running track and sport fields with landscape educational spaces.

Vacant_2_Vibrant

In partnership with the Cleveland Botanical Garden, this pilot research project aimed to demonstrate the value of green infrastructure in three cities throughout the Mid-West. In total 3 project sites were constructed in each of three cities, Cleveland, Buffalo, and Gary.

Goodale_PARK_Vision_plan

In partnership with the Friends of Goodale Park and Columbus Recreation & Parks, the Goodale Park Vision plan engaged students from Ohio State's Knowlton School. The project was recognized with a 2015 Honorable Mention from the Ohio Chapter of ASLA.
